Klez keeps around a few celebrity magazines for exactly this senario: to bribe information out of Nik and Tuck.

Sometimes it's because Klez and his travel companion, Abalone, are horribly lost. However, Nik and Tuck's info have been helpful for finding goods for Klez to pawn off and help fund their travels.

This time around, Klez was able to barter for a rumor that a certain Manatabu was searching for treasure.
