Hi everyone!

We've finished with our work a bit early, so prompts and design submissions are now reopened!
There's been some small changes to how things will be working with general art claims going forward, so please be sure to submit all general art and writing through the General Art and Writing prompt found in the Casual Prompts category. Claims will now only be used for claiming things like badges, birthday rewards, and reporting things to us that may not quantify as an actual on-site report.

Further, due to player feedback, we've opted to adjust some of the writing rewards as well!

• There will now be a +2 rc bonus for all writing submissions, so the base for 100 words will be 3 rc. This is only applied once.
• Adults, forever babies, and hybrids will now get a +4 for significant interaction.
• Hatchlings will now get a +2 for significant interaction.

Finally, going forward, we'd kindly ask that when submitting new designs or updating current ones, to please use the on-site thumbnail cropper, OR submit thumbnail images with a maximum width and height of 200px by 200px. Any characters not using the thumbnail cropper in the future will be rejected and asked to focus on the character's face.

Due to the time constraint on closing the prompts queues, we've extended February's CotM and monthly prompt until the 3rd of March. Happy submitting!

Hey all!
We've got some updates coming up soon in regards to RC rewards for your prompt submissions. There will be a couple reward bumps and some evening out of MYO ticket prices, as can be seen in the attached image! 

You might be wondering what the new shiny ones are at the bottom. We've opted to add in a bonus for shading, comics, and added an extra background tier for those who want to put in the effort. Here's what each of these will be moving forward:

• Shading - This can be painted, cel shading, or rendered however you deem fit. The whole character must have some form of shading, and must look intentional, either to the stand alone character, or if there's a background it must match the environment around it. Things such as a gradient filter over the whole body will not count!
• Comic Bonus - A comic bonus will be applied to any comic submitted that has over 3 pages and has a clear beginning, middle, and end (or cliffhanger, if that's what you're going for!) Each page submitted will get you +5 RC bonus, with a minimum guaranteed +15 if you just make the standard 3 pages. 
• Level 3 Background - This will be an extensive background that includes both 3 or more elements as well as a clear and defined foreground, midground, and background.

We will be getting examples up alongside the shading and level 3 background additions, so please keep an eye out for that if you have any questions! 

As for the Shop updates...

• The Base hatchling cost has been raised to the price of the trabblet cost, so all starter hatchlings are now 15RC.
• The starter adults have been evened out to be 30RC each, so all MYO tickets for these species are equal with one another.
• Color Edit's price has been lowered to 10RC to make the number make a bit more sense compared to all the other edit items.
• Growth Potion has been removed from the shop and will now strictly be given out through the prompt, They Grow Up So Fast!

Growth Potions still in player's inventories are still perfectly valid for use and will not be removed.

If you're wondering why we are making these drastic changes, don't fret, we've done some other changes to hatchlings as a way to balance things out!

 All hatchlings, excluding future starter hatchlings, can now be freely traded; this applies to both existing hatchlings and new (non-starter) myo hatchlings. All characters on the masterlist have been adjusted to fit these new transfer permissions. Gone are the days of having to grow up your babies if you want them to remain that way! Which leads us into the next big segment of updates.

We've added a new prompt that can be done with hatchlings, Forever Young. This prompt allows hatchlings to stay hatchlings, but in future prompts they will earn the same RC amount as an adult Ranebopet. This prompt will reward you with a Spell of Eternal Youth, which can be used to keep your hatchling a hatchling, as well as give them the following options:

1. Stay exactly the same with no looks updates
2. Have 1 additional color (max 4) and 1 trait 
3. Have 2 additional colors (max 5) and no traits
4. Have 2 traits and no additional colors (max 3)

The trait applied, Never Grow, will not count towards their trait limit.

Never Grow can be undone at any time via the use of a growth potion obtained via They Grow Up So Fast!

These updates will go into effect on the 28th of February. Design updates and prompt submissions will be held off until we've gone through and updated everything on site to reflect the new RC rewards. Additionally, we've now made a general art and writing prompt which you can find here. All future art and writing claims that don't fit a prompt must now be submitted through this prompt. The criteria calculator can't be used in claims, so this makes things simpler for everyone ♥

On top of these rather large announcements, here’s some changelog stuff for you all as well:

• We’ve now opened a Toyhou.se world! Feel free to join and submit your Ranebopets as you’d like to.
• Added a featured character section to user profiles. You can set your character from the characters page.
• There’s now a daily weather feature and current season on the home page! This is mostly for flavour, though we do hope you enjoy it.
• We’ve had the World Expanded plugin added to the site. There isn’t much there for now, but please do stay tuned for future updates.
• The navigation bar has been shifted around a bit, with some things moving to other drop downs. This may take time to adjust to, but we hope it will make things easier to navigate in the future.

ranebopets - Izzy Wishcave/Custom Slots

Hey guys! Wishcaves are coming up soon, i've got a page made for my own slots, this is just a preview so you guys can figure you if you want to go for Wishcaves or custom slots. Please have patience and grace since these slots are a bit different from the custom slot last Sunnyfest. If you have questions, feel free to ask in the questions channel on discord or DM me as well, or here in the comments as well

Hey all! A couple things today!

This month's character of the month goes to CookieDear's Cosmeep! You'll have until Saturday, February 28, 2026 11:59 PM EST to submit to the Character of the Month prompt!

Further announcement, we now have an incentive on site to boost the discord server! You'll get a special Booster Treasure for each boost you give, with a maximum of 2 boosts per person. Any boosts past this are appreciated, but will not qualify for any additional treasures for the month.

Feel free to boost at any time to get rewards, as we'll pass them out as they're applied to the server! All future rewards for those who continue to boost throughout each month will be handed out around the first of the month.

Not part of the discord but want to be? Anyone 16+ is free to join at any time !

Hey guys! Thanks to some help from TornPages we now have a currency calculator built into prompt submissions! It'll be called "Criteria Rewards", add yourself a criterion and then you'll be able to add in what you've made for your submission. This should be much easier to submit for currency, since it'll automatically add in your rewards when we approve it on our end. You won't have to add a scoring breakdown in your submission anymore, you will have to number submissions when you go over 10 characters/familiars still.

If you have questions about the new system, don't hesitate to reach out in comments on site, or ask on Discord!

We also added something to make shipping your birthday boxes easier! If you have your birthday set to "Members can see your day and month" you'll automatically get your rewards at the beginning of the month that your birthday is in. So some of our February birthdays should have already gotten theirs! If you did not have your birthday publicity set beforehand and have a February birthday, please submit a claim so we can send you your gift

Happy Sprig!

This year we've continued the consolidation of Cloventines and Halcidays, the prompts for both these events are available in the Major Prompts section. We hope you have fun doing lots of prompts about your Ranebopets and their friends and partners and family! We have a handful of things available in the Sprig shop as well, the usual special baby MYOs are available as well as a new fun familiar! The new monthly prompt also has a new familiar available to get, as well as their more stormy variant is purchasable in the shop. 

We are planning on doing some Wishcaves and hybrid slots later in the month, so keep an eye out for those! 

If you aren't in the discord we did post a changelog with many of the new things that are released and have been adjusted

Halcidays and Cloventines prompts have been upgraded to Major Event Prompts! (they grow up so fast)
Many of the older Cloventines/Halcidays prompts have moved to the slightly updated layout to make them look a little more fancy :sparkles:
New familiars, the Stormee and the Rainee have been added. You can get your Stormee for the months of Sprig in the familiar shop, the Rainee you can get from the monthly prompt Rainy Days
Added Leetle to the familiar shop
Added Sakura Leetle to the Sprig Shop
Leetle has gotten some upgraded art as well (ty Joy <33 )
Changed Halcidays and Cloventines badges to be ones you submit claims for to align with the other event badges. Each badge only requires one submission from each event to claim a badge (one Cloventines submission will net you the one Cloventines badge)
Sprig Shop has a new image to make it feel cooler! Expect more of these in the future (you may need to clear your cache to show it)
Trabbowl Hatchling MYO ticket has been added to the Sprig shop, this one is a single MYO per person as per the other special hatchling tickets
Key Items have been added as a new category to sort out special badges/special items for events (This was to separate attachable badges from event badges)
Hatchlings are now able to do the "First Meet" prompt
All Cloventines and Halcidays prompts have gotten the +5 bonus RC added to them
Two new NPCs have been made as well! Washi and Slippy

As we continue into the new year, we have a new little gift for you guys, when it's your birthday you can submit a claim to get a little birthday box! This box will include an account bound familiar especially for birthdays, a little accessory and some extra goodies. You can submit a claim with proof of your birthday (simply a screenshot of your profile works, we just want a day/month) during your birth month and we'll give you your box. 

If you've had your birthday since the new years as well, submit a claim and we'll get you your box even if it's a while past!

Hello hello, happy new year everyone! We've got a bit of a special announcement for you all today.

As of today at 12pm EST, there will be a new monthly prompt, found in the limited time prompt category! What is this special prompt, you may be wondering? It's the character of the month! With this prompt, you'll be entered into a raffle for drawing a piece of gift art to the current featured character, which can be found in the left sidebar on your account home page. The character will also be linked within the prompt for your convenience. This raffle, once entered, gives one lucky winner a chance to have a character of their choosing that they own featured on site for an entire month! You'll need to be okay with receiving gift art of them of course, so please let us know if you're not alright with that so we can remove your ticket or reroll it ♥

Please be sure to read all info provided within the prompt description itself, as this prompt does have some limitations that others may not have! As for the other rewards, you'll receive 10 Bonus RC and 10 STX for participating, alongside the raffle entry!

On another note, we've now enabled it so that badges you've earned can be put directly into a character's inventory! Please note that upon transferring the badges, they will no longer appear in your account inventory, and will instead be in your character's inventory. Badges and other items can be transferred back to your main inventory at any time should you wish to do so!

We also have some New Years familiars! Three citrus-y Boariatorial have been spotted running around Ranebo, these small Boariatorial are created by making a vaguely boar shaped fruit hold an RC. These small Boaritorial are known to be tenacious but bring good luck and fortune to those that create them. You can get a Lemon Boaritorial by doing the new monthly prompt in the Limited Time category, the Mandarin and Lime Boaritorial are available for the month in the Familiar shop!
