🌌 Abalone - He/Him 🌌

Abalone is a gentle giant that is far from the sharpest urchin in the ocean. While he lacks smarts and is often obviously oblivious, Abalone possesses great physical strength which he enjoys using to aid others... or make a perfect napping spot.

Abalone grew up in a large loving family. When they they eventually dispersed on individual adventures of their own, Abalone concluded that he should probably be adventuring too. It was during his travels in which he re-met Klez, a member of his former family group, and the two, joined by shared incompetence in making this whole "adventuring" thing work, have stuck together since.

Well, possibly the real reason they've stayed together is that they're currently a bit stuck...

~Stormchaser Affinity~

Can electrifiy himself and is near invulnerable to electricity. Most often occurs when Abalone is inflated.

⛈️ ~Forcast - Storm Creation~ ⛈️
Can create clouds, storms, or other weather effects (depending on Abalone's current mood) within his sub-space interior which can be spit/released when he's inflated.
Can mix with the soda Abalone's creates to give the weather effects and fizzy-like texture.

🫧 ~Edible - Soda Creation~ 🫧
Can create and spit soda from sub-space interior when Abalone inflates.

🩻 ~Translucency~ 🩻
Abalone becomes translucent when inflated (solely around the front of his neck) and can optionally be drawn as slightly transparent.

🌑 ~Sub-Space Stomach~ 🌑
Trabble Ability - Can store, and later retrieve, an infinite amount of items from their sub-space interior.

He is big!

Abalone lacks any form of hands on his wings and exclusively handles objects with his mouth.

He doesn't talk a lot and prefers to give simple answers or head motions where possible.

His voice is deep and low, and he often makes a content sighing whistle during interactions.

Abalone also answers to the nickname Soda.

Abalone adores water and is obviously more comfortable swimming than walking or flying.

He needs to keep hydrated and can dry out quickly due to his sea-slug like skin.

He obtained his Pterawings by accident...

Abalone almost always lands with a sliding crash. Those in his landing runway beware!

He is classified as a false Pterrabble as, though his appearance is extremely similar, he lacks some traits that would earn him the classification.

Has mild spring allergies.

Favorite food is seaweed and raw sushi.

Will pick up trash if he spots it. The ocean will be clean.✨

Abalone is friends with CrunchyLemon's Magnus. He's known Magnus since their childhood.

Abalone doesn't seem to have much going on upstairs. He's friendly like a golden retriever and about as smart as one. Abalone often looks confused, or just generally oblivious to what's going on around him. Thankfully, he has Magnus to lead him, as the two are almost always together.
