Who is trick-or-treating: SugarSprinkles - Drp-708 RP: A Draphibi hatchling wearing a table cloth approaches the booth. It throws one of his pet rocks on a sign as to communicate his order being trick.
Semiplume looks suprised when SugarSprinkles throws his pet rocks, but she quickly catches on and lets Buttercorn know to start carving a pumpkin.
🌁Semiplume:🌁 Looks like you’re the last Ranebo at our booth this evening! It sure was a fun night and I hope you got yourself a good haul of treats, traveler!
There. I’ve found you, trickster. I am Reine, French for queen. Tales of your carving prowess have reached my august trone, and I have traveled far and wide to witness your... tricks with my own eyes. Well? What are you waiting for? My decree is for you to carve your pumpkin. Allons, montrez-moi ce dont vous êtes capable.
Even though she doesn’t understand French or most of Reine said, Buttercorn did understand that Reine thought her pumpkin crafts were special and worth seeking out, and she eagerly got to work on the bettabo’s pumpkin while singing to herself.
Right before Buttercorn reveals Reine’s pumpkin-likeness she (almost) quietly asks Alicanto (in sugarnix form) what a queen is.
Vis, now tired after running after the sugar-crazed iota, sighs as she glances at the two running the stand. Eire demands attention as it starts to stomp around a little, holding out a bag for treats. However, the sugarnix steps in a little to whisper in Semiplume and Buttercorn's ears.
"Please give this little imp a trick. Another treat and I might have to sleep for 48 hours instead of 24!"
Semiplume looks with sympathy at Vis due to being veryyy familiar with trying to coax a rowdy Ranebo (Buttercorn) to settle down. She nods to the sugarnix and then turns to Eire.
🌁Semiplume:🌁 Hello there little one! I have a spooky story to tell, and if you can listen to the end without looking behind you, I will give you a secret treat!
Semiplume starts to tell a story about ghosts that like to wear pumpkin bodies so they are no longer invisible. The story is only slightly spooky, and it’s more aimed at keeping the iota’s attention and calming it down.
While Semi tells the tale, Butter and Alicanto work on Erie’s pumpkin and then carefully hide it behind the iota. When Semi finishes the story, she encourages Eire to look behind it.
Bebro jumps at the sudden question.
"Become a pumpkin?!" He gives another second to think before nodding enthusiastically.
"Yea, that sounds like a lot of fun! You can't go wrong with any sort of trick!" He smirks confidently and waves his tail to a beat.
"I've got a few tricks myself-" he quickly follows up by break-dancing like no other ranebopet has seen before!
Finn hopped over to the booth, curious about what all the hubbub was. Finn wasn't exactly sure what this booth was about but she put a hand on one of the pumpkins, probably saying that she wanted to be turned into one??? Maybe??? (She looks like she wants to eat it ngl-). While waiting for Butter to cut the pumpkin, Finn showed Semi some of the powers she developed over the course of her journies.
